The millinery headband base is hand made of buckram, wired with firm but adjustable wire, so it is easy to shape to fit your hairstyle. It is covered in layers of interfacing, draped with silk satin and hand sewn in millinery couture technique.

The birdcage veil is made of fine french veiling, attached to a flat hair comb, that you can easily slide under the headband and remove it yourself.
